With “life banking”, Aequilibrium changes how people bank, pay, and manage their finances. We are looking for a Product Manager (PM) to drive our own fintech product roadmap. You’ll bring together business acumen and deep customer insights and empathy, a passion for building seamless digital experience, and a good grasp of technology and trends. You’ll be responsible for working with our leadership team to translate our company vision into a prioritized backlog with milestones and product releases. You’ll work closely with our leadership team to understand market trends, customer needs, competition, to identify priorities and risk, and to ship winning digital products, fast.

  • Develop product roadmaps through deep understanding of industry trends, customer insights, competitive landscape, and technology trends
  • Envision, design and deliver our game-changing “life banking” product
  • Define and prioritize the product backlog, identifying key features and milestones
  • Perform Product, Release and Iteration Planning sessions, driving the product development team using Lean Startup and Agile methodology
  • Be able to perform both strategically (by participating in discussions with our exec team and SMEs), and tactically (be involved hands-on to drive the product backlog, understand the technical challenges and opportunities, write user stories and receive the product demos at the end of each Agile Iteration)
  • Work with our Product Marketing team to research trends, identify opportunities and unmet needs, and determine the competitive landscape
  • Work with our Director of Product Design to determine the key personas and user scenarios, extract key features, and define frictionless user experiences
  • Work closely with the technology team, be involved hands-on in the product delivery process, from backlog grooming and prioritization, to iteration planning and writing user stories

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Product Manager, building winning digital products for web, mobile or IoT. Fintech expertise is a big bonus
  • Deeply understand the financial services ecosystem, immersed in the latest trends and technologies
  • Advanced knowledge of Lean Startup and Agile Delivery practices
  • Internet and retail experience strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Passionate about building great products and solving customer and business problems
  • Demonstrated experience in improving conversion rates through analytics, UX design, and A/B testing
  • Ability to drive creation of platform documentation (not write it, but review it for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to requirements)

Soft Skills:

  • Customer focused and committed to excellence.
  • Amazing problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge leader in evolving product strategies based on customer development and industry trends

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent)
  • 5-7 years experience in building digital products for financial services or retail
