We are looking for a Senior Front-End Web Developer to join our team! Who You Are:
- You excel at developing, optimizing, and maintaining responsive web applications that leverage HTML5, CSS3, JS frameworks, and integrate with 3rd party applications.
- You enjoy working on complex enterprise solutions/applications in the front end using Angular 2+.
- You can build on applications developed with technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring Security, Web MVC, and use application servers such as Tomcat, WebSphere, Weblogic, or JBoss.
- You apply Agile values and Scrum frameworks to your work and understand how they can add to your team’s success.
- You are comfortable working with SOAP and RESTful web services using tools such as XML, JSON, and RAML.
- You can identify and communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions.
- You excel at performing technical analysis, designing, coding, and implementing large-scale object-oriented applications.
- You enjoy collaborating with your team to help develop logical specifications.
- You can integrate modern solutions with legacy systems.
- You are comfortable preparing reports and other documentation as required.
Must Have Qualifications:
- Experience extending and customizing the Backbase digital banking platform for credit unions.
- Experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on credit unions in particular.
- Professional and consultative, with experience in professional services, comfortable interacting with clients to solve their business challenges.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Over seven years of experience as a front-end web developer.
- Proficiency with Angular 2+ and Typescript.
- HTML5, CSS3, SASS, LESS, responsive design.
- JavaScript unit test tools, such as Jasmine.
- Experience building and maintaining unit tests for web applications.
- Experience with Git and Gitflow.
- Ability to write clean, readable, maintainable code.
- Experience performing peer code review.
- Full-stack web programming skills with exposure to middleware programming, such as Node.js, Next.js, Java, or Spring ecosystems.
- Knowledge of cloud services, such as AWS, Azure, or similar.
- Experience working remotely using Agile Methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
